Who the 12 inch suits

The 12 inch is our most popular length with women whose own hair is between the chin and the shoulders. Because it sits at the shoulders it never looks like an extension, it simply looks like your hair on a very good day. It is also the right choice if what you want is thickness rather than length: 90g of Remy hair adds real fullness through the back and sides without the weight of a longer piece.

If your hair is fine or thinning, look at the Lightweight 45g version. It is half the weight, sits flatter under your own top layer and is easier to hide at the wire.

Styling tips at 12 inches

Ask your hairdresser for a dry trim through the ends so the extension follows the line of your own cut. Soft waves on a 25mm wand hide the transition completely. Keep heat at or below 180°C and use a heat protectant, exactly as you would on your own hair.

How is the 12 inch length measured?

From the wire down to the ends of the hair, with the hair straight. Worn on the head it sits at the shoulders. If you are between two lengths, order the shorter one: length exchanges are free.

Is 90g enough hair to look full?

Yes. Our wefts are wider than most on the market and the weight is spread across the whole back of the head, so 90g reads as a full head of hair rather than a thin panel. Customers with very fine hair often prefer the Lightweight 12 inch at 45g.

Can I curl, straighten and wash it?

Yes. It is 100% Remy human hair. Use a heat protectant, keep tools at or below 180°C, wash every 8 to 10 wears and use a hair oil on the ends.

How do I get the colour right?
