The short answer
- Only three UK brands sell a human-hair one-piece wire extension: Naturyl, Cliphair and Gee Hair. Lullabellz's version is synthetic. Beauty Works, Foxy Locks, Milk + Blush, Additional Lengths, Hair Rehab London, Sway and Stranded do not make one.
- Cheapest per gram: Cliphair (£1.05 to £1.20), then Naturyl (£1.29 to £1.35) and Gee (£1.33 to £1.40). The US brands Luxy, Sitting Pretty and Bellami cost £1.87 to £2.84 per gram before any import charges.

£ per gram = one-off price ÷ set weight at the stated length. Naturyl's 14-inch price is £129 for most shades (a few shades are £99 or £149). Luxy and Sitting Pretty prices are the GBP figures their sites show UK visitors; Bellami prices are converted from USD at the store's own rate and are approximate. Some brands sell this category under a different trademarked name; we call it an invisible wire extension throughout. How to read the table
1. Grams decide how full it looks
A one-piece wire extension is one weft, so its weight is the whole story. 45g to 70g adds length and movement to fine hair; 100g to 120g gives a full, thick result on medium hair. Two brands sell 120g pieces in the UK (Naturyl at 18 inch, Cliphair at 20 inch), and Naturyl and Cliphair both reach 100g at 14 to 16 inches. If a listing does not state grams, treat it as under 80g.
2. Price per gram, not price per piece
Prices from £30 to £341 look like a wide market until you divide by hair weight. The UK human-hair brands cluster at £1.05 to £1.40 per gram. The US brands are two to three times that once shipping is included, and only Luxy pays UK duties up front.
3. Remy or not
Remy hair has the cuticle intact and aligned, so it stays smooth and lasts with daily wear. Naturyl, Cliphair, Gee and Sitting Pretty state Remy on the product page; Luxy and Bellami imply it at brand level; Lullabellz is synthetic, which cannot be heat-styled above its fibre limit and typically lasts a season.
4. Returns and colour risk
Colour is the main reason wire extensions get returned. Cliphair's 60-day window is the most generous; Naturyl's 14 days is shorter but the colour or length exchange is free and there is a £3 tester in every shade, so the first order is low risk. Sitting Pretty offers exchanges only.
